I hope you had a wonderful summer! We have made a few improvements to the Plus program and would like to share them with you:
- A Daily Schedule and New Groupings:
There will be two Plus groups this year, divided by age. N2 through Pre-K will be one group and K through 8th will be another group.

2. New Staff: I am happy to say that we are welcoming new staff members to our program.
- Jared Zervos and Jake Sphar have been HCA camp counselors for the last few summers and will be assisting the Plus teachers in daily activities.
- Ms Stacey Kerno our new N2 teacher will be helping with the younger group.
- Returning Staff: Mrs. Mossor, Ms. Webb, Mrs. Devenney, Mara Zwilling, Becca Clay,
3. Calendar: A monthly calendar with the weekly theme will be sent out each month. Be on the lookout for this in your email!
4. BLOG: The blog will be updated on a frequent basis so be sure to check out all the fun things going on! https://hcaplus.blogspot.com/
5. Cell Phone: Just a reminder that the school office is closed after 4:30 p.m. If you should need to reach a Plus staff member please call the HCA Plus+ Cell Phone: 267-449-3983.
**6. Pick Up Instructions: This is the biggest change for Plus. ALL students will be picked up from Plus (regardless of time) from the main lobby. If you arrive before 4:30 you will be buzzed in from the office; if you arrive after 4:30, an HCA Plus staff member will be there to let you in. At that time, the staff member will use the walkie talkie to notify the Plus teacher your child is leaving.
7. Late Pick Up Fees: There is a $1 a minute fee for any late pick ups. If you are signed up for ‘Early Pick Up’ and arrive after 4:30 pm you will be charged accordingly. If you are signed up for ‘Late Pick Up’ and you arrive after 6:00 pm you will be charged accordingly.
For the next six Tuesdays, Kitchen Wizards will be back at Plus cooking with our students in Pre-K-3 grades. The Kids will attend on a rotation throughout the six weeks and you do not have to sign up.
